Justin Drew Bieber

Born March 1st 1994 (age 16) in Stratford, Ontario, Canada and is a Canadian Pop-R&B singer. In 2008 Bieber was discovered on the website YouTube by Scooter Braun, who later became his manager. Braun arranged for Justin to meet Usher in Atlanta, Georgia, and was soon signed to Raymond Braun Media Group (RBMG), a joint between Braun and Usher. He was then offered with a recording contract with Island Records by L.A. Reid which was taken.

Bieber’s debut single ‘One Time’ was released Worldwide during 2009 and charted within the top 30 in over ten countries. On November 17th, 2009 his debut release ‘My World’ followed, which was certified platinum in the US, giving Bieber the highest debut by a new artist in the year and making him the first artist to have seven songs from a debut album chart on the Billboard Hot 100. 

His first full studio release ‘My World 2.0’ was released on March 23, 2010

and he has since received similar success. It debuted at number one and in several countries it was within the top ten, in the United States after less than two months of its release was certified platinum. His debut single ‘Baby’ was then released, landing the top 5 of the UK Singles charts and in many other countries.
